1. How we think about limits
SignalTo runs on open limits. There are no hard caps that switch your account off when you reach a number. Instead, we set generous thresholds that cover normal commercial use, and we keep supporting you if you go beyond them. This policy explains where those thresholds sit and what happens if you pass them.
2. Fair use thresholds
For a single account, normal commercial use sits within the following:
- up to 1,000 indexed pages;
- up to 100 monitored queries;
- up to 20 tracked competitors (across AI and search); and
- up to 50 Google Alert queries.
These are guides for what one account is expected to use, not switches. You will not be cut off for reaching them.
3. If you go beyond them
3.1 If your usage consistently exceeds these thresholds, we will reach out to talk it through. Often the answer is simply to help you optimise how the account is set up.
3.2 Where sustained usage is well beyond normal commercial use and adds materially to our hosting and processing costs, we may agree a supplementary hosting contribution with you.
3.3 Our commitment: we will always contact you before any additional charge applies. You will never be surprised by a charge under this policy. Any supplementary contribution is discussed and agreed with you first.
4. Protecting the Services for everyone
We may take reasonable steps to protect the performance and stability of the Services for all customers, including managing automated or excessive activity that risks disrupting the Services. Where this affects your account, we will tell you and work with you to resolve it.
5. Relationship to other policies
This policy is about load and reasonable capacity. Use of the Services must also comply with the Acceptable Use Policy, which is about lawful and honest use.
6. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is available at signalto.ai/legal/fair-usage.
